We’ve been developing the File Management course for our members since 2011. This course is now updated for SolidWorks 2013 and is a great starting point for users looking to understand how SolidWorks deals with file structure, references and more.
This course teaches users how to manage files within SolidWorks. It includes explanations of the SolidWorks file structure, file references, file associativity, and how to manage a multi-user environment, as well as techniques and methodologies for users who are not currently using a PDM system.
